why the name?

Once upon a time, I was baking something, I don't remember what it was. I was probably bored, which is usually why I bake. I put it in the oven, set the timer, then went outside to start some other project that I probably didn't finish and promptly forgot about the 'thing' in the oven, typical. My husband was inside watching television when the dinger on the oven went off so he walked outside to let me know and he said, "Hey, the dinger dung! Or is it dinger dang? Dinger dung? Dinger dang? How do you say it?" So I got whatever it was out of the oven and we ate it and loved it. The point of the story is...we have a funny thing to say and now it's the title of the blog.
